Sales of Work?

I've been mulling this around for a while and I'm curious - should I start selling prints of my work? And any suggestions about what to print? I’d love to hear your thoughts!

Also, I've been working on lots of things, including a children's book, a spread and bunch of spots for a British Magazine, more swords (and other stuff), and I'm in three upcoming art shows, so there's a lot of work on the horizon! Update you all soon!

And as always, if you haven't already, please buy my Shakespeare books! They go really well with my totes too, you know, if you're feelin crazy!

How Design and the New York Times

This morning I got an email saying that my portfolio website has been selected as one of How's Top Ten Websites of November! Check it out here and also take a look at the other artists while you're there!

Also, here's a thumbnail for my latest Op/Ed piece for the NY Times that is being published tomorrow:

Check it out if you get the paper! It's a great look at how immigrant innovators shaped some of the biggest companies in the US!

101 Florals - Raflessia

Llew Mejia over at 101 Florals was very kind to allow me to do a pattern for them! I have loved the raflessia since I was a kid, reading about them in books and thinking about how strange it must be for the largest flower in the world (the largest unbranched inflorescence, specifically speaking) to have its carrion smell and feeding on insects.

Yeah, I was that kid (like you don't know it already!).

Anyhow, here are a couple views of it. And you can also check it out here at the 101 Florals blog - amazing work that they're doing over there!

I'll also be posting better pictures of Hamlet ASAP! So excited to show them to you all!
