Signature Shakespeare - Hamlet

Much Ado About Nothing and Hamlet are now in stores and available online! I hope that you'll go check them out - these are my pride and joy!

I wanted to show the full range of illustrations in all of the books better (and juxtapose the laser-cut illustrations):

Very incredible! I can't believe how much you have grown as an illustrator since school. It's very inspiring :)

Yahoo! This is soooo exciting, Kevin, and I am thrilled to death for you!! I am hoping that Santa is good to me this year and leaves these two books in my stocking. Kevin, you told me several months ago that if sales were going well, you'd continue with the series. So, I am going to ask the big question: What's next and when? I really hope and pray that you are able to complete the series because these are seriously the most beautiful pieces of Shakespeare literature that I have ever seen/read, and, believe me, I've read a LOT of Shakespeare! Congrats to you...you are amazing!!!

Thank you Gregory! I hope that you get them in your stocking too - I especially love the illustrations in Hamlet.

As far as I know, the sales from this upcoming holiday season are the determining factor right now. So hopefully they'll sell well and the series will be back on track!

Thanks for the compliments!

Another question I've wondered about: How long does it take you from beginning to end to complete one of these books? And how do you decide what images to design and create?

Hello again!

There's a window of many months over which the sketches and thumbnails are pored over and we figure out what goes where and such. I get an illustration list, but they gave me some great leeway for how to interpret it.
