Somethin' a Little Different

Those of you know that know me know that I love to bake. So I've decided to occasionally post some of the things I make, if they look good. This is an orange génoise with a meringue buttercream icing and a strawberry marmalade compote over the top, made in honor of my grandmother, who would have been 81 this week:

Plus I think the light coming through them is really cool looking.
