So I had a thought: why have a flat background when I could spend hours and hours drawing and cutting a pattern that could only subtly show up in the form of shadows? Good thing I love it and the effect.
This is another mock book cover I put together around the idea that the pomegranate, not the apple, is the universal symbol of sin and temptation, and put the ouroboros in the shape of a lemniscate to solidify the idea of its infinite nature.
